What are Sweet Decades bags designed for?

What does “Terpene Support” mean?
Terpene Support describes the packaging's aroma-conscious storage design. Careful drying, proper sealing and stable storage conditions remain important to preserving the character of a harvest.
Do I need to dry my flower before using the bags?
Yes. Dry your flower thoroughly before transferring it to a curing bag. The drying stage often takes approximately 7–14 days depending on the conditions. Do not put freshly harvested or wet flower directly into curing bags.
What humidity level are the bags designed to maintain?
Sweet Decades bags are designed to support an internal relative humidity environment around 58–62% when the contents are properly prepared. Monitor your results and adjust your process if needed.
Do I need to burp the bags?
Routine burping is generally not required when the flower has been dried correctly before bagging. If the material is too wet or condensation appears, remove it and correct the conditions before continuing.
How full should I fill each bag?
Fill bags to approximately 75% of their capacity rather than packing them tightly. Leaving room makes handling and sealing easier.
Should I squeeze out the air before closing?
Gently remove excess air without crushing the contents or vacuum-packing the bag. Fully close the zipper and avoid overfilling.
Do I need humidity packs?
Humidity packs are generally not required when properly dried material is stored in bags under suitable conditions. They are not a substitute for the drying process. Monitor humidity and follow your specific storage needs.
Do I need to heat seal the bags?
Heat sealing is optional for normal use, but recommended for longer-term storage when the bag supports it. Always close the zipper completely first.
Where should I keep my filled bags?
Store filled bags in a cool, dark, dry location away from direct sunlight and major temperature swings. A stable temperature around 60–70°F is often preferred.
Does the humidity outside the bag matter?
Yes. Extreme or prolonged ambient humidity can affect storage results. Avoid damp environments and monitor the contents when conditions are unusually humid or dry.
How long does curing take?
Curing time varies by harvest, material and storage conditions. Many growers evaluate progress over several weeks. Check aroma and condition periodically without unnecessary repeated opening.
Can I reuse my bags?
Bags may be reused if the zipper, heat-seal area and material remain clean and undamaged. Replace any bag with tears, compromised seals, contamination or persistent unwanted odors.
Are the bags completely smell-proof?
The packaging has odor-barrier properties to help contain aromas, but it should not be described as completely smell-proof in all circumstances.
Which bag size should I choose?
Choose based on the amount you plan to store in each bag. Sweet Decades offers several sizes from 1 ounce to larger commercial formats. Leave some headspace rather than filling to the top.
What is the difference between a bag and a set?
A bag is an individual pouch. A set is the retail quantity sold together, such as 50 one-ounce bags or 25 two-ounce bags. Refer to the product listing for the exact set quantity.
